Costa Rica Yoga Retreat

Join Jen Xanders and Jen Handley to reconnect with Nature and your own Wild Spirit in the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica-

one of the world’s five Blue Zones.

Spend 4 nights during the Full Harvest Moon here at The Sanctuary Two Rivers.

This center is 100% off-the-grid and solar-powered, with modern luxury accommodations. Located directly across from the Pacific Ocean, yet hidden 1,000 yards into the jungle on its own private land nestled between two rivers.

Practice yoga in a stunning open-air jungle shala, hike to a waterfall (or two!), or choose to take part in amazing local experiences like surfing, swimming with horses, snorkeling and more.

*This retreat is open to all, regardless of your level of yoga experience.

“Keep close to Nature’s heart...and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods [or jungle!] Wash your spirit clean...”

-John Muir

MEET YOUR HOSTS

JEN XANDERS, ERYT500

YOUR RETREAT’S YOGA, MEDITATION & BREATHWORK TEACHER

I have been blessed to be teaching and sharing the gifts of yoga since

2007. It’s been a journey that continues to expand beyond my dreams. I

teach not only in-studio classes but also created and run Flourish

Yoga + Wellbeing’s 200hr and 300hr teacher training programs. As a

teacher, I look to encourage students to reconnect with their bodies

and intuition. I aim to hold space to

help them realize how powerful, loving and happy they are beneath all

the distraction and negativity they don’t need. My teaching style is

physically challenging and a compilation of every teacher and student

I have had the joy of practicing and studying with. Expect to sweat,

smile, let go of the outside world and reconnect to yourself, to return

hOMe.

JEN HANDLEY, RYT200

YOUR RETREAT’S FACILITATOR

I started practicing yoga in 2001 during college. I fell in love with the

movement, the tradition and philosophy and how great each class

made me feel, and I’ve practiced ever since.

I’m a creative person at heart, a lifelong painter, a curious researcher

and an entrepreneur. I’ve built and grown a tech-based social media

research firm, a creative co-working space, and now a yoga retreat

business. I believe I’ve been able to successfully manage the demands

of my career and family life because of the tools I’ve gained from

practicing yoga- the ability to turn inward, having enough physical and

mental energy, flexibility, strength, balance, focus, and most important

of all, contentment.

I am fascinated by and continuously researching the mind-body- spirit

connection and our enormous capacity to heal our bodies and our

hearts. I have seen immense benefits of this practice in my life- both

during the highs and the lows. I am so excited to help others to find joy,

peace, and hopefully some healing through exploring their own

practice in these beautiful destinations.

“I had my first yoga retreat experience with Jen X and Jen H , Wild Spirit Yoga Retreats.

My daughter and I joined, and what they put together would be hard to exceed. The

accommodations, vegan catering, transportation, and excursions were will thought

out and executed. Thank you J and J for a wonderful first venture and a memorable

trip for us."
